SIZE

Our standard size is just under 24 feet (allowing for seams and hemming). The paths on the 24-foot Santa Rosa Labyrinth are slightly wider than the paths on the 36-foot Chartres labyrinths. So, while it fits into a smaller space, it is just as easy to walk. We could, in fact, make it as small as 20 feet without feeling that it would be too small to be walked comfortably. Coming as a single [piece, it is easy to lay out. Total weight is about 40 pounds.

PATTERN

PERIMETER SHAPE

Our standard perimeter for the Santa Rosa Labyrinth is octagonal. In fact, we've never made it any other shape. It is possible, however, to make a different shape for the perimeter if you have some reason to require that.

PAINTING AND COLOR

As usual, you can paint it yourself or have us do it. There is something to be said about building community by painting your own labyrinth. On the other hand, volunteers generally don't come close to doing the professional job that our painters do. Our standard labyrinth is painted a solid color. As options, we offer rainbow colored lines or ivy vines.

12-foot-wide canvas, add $400

(Our usual canvas is 6-ft. wide, which requires a seam down the middle of the panel, which is very minor. It can be avoided by using 12-ft. wide material. However, the 12-ft. material is often of poorer quality. That's why we still use the 6-ft. material. However, the 12-ft. is an option.

CREDIT CARD SYSTEM

We accept MasterCard and Visa. If you email your order, please send your card number in the following format, with no spaces or dashes between numbers: Start with three zeros, then the 16 numbers of the credit card, then the expiration date as four digits (MMYY) plus three zeros at the end. If your credit card number were all X's, for example, and the expiration date is YY of ZZ, you would send the following number: 000XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXYYZZ000.

This method of cloaking is intended to defeat any robots that are searching for 16-digit credit card numbers. Actually, the danger of using a credit card over the Internet doesn't come from the moment it is being sent. It comes from leaving it on the host computer and then having someone hack into the computer and steal the numbers. When we receive your order by email, we print out a paper copy and then delete the email. It doesn't stay in our system. If you feel more comfortable with faxing us the order, please do.
